Create databases where you need them.
Tables can be dropped in DBLX using the following DROP TABLE syntax:
DROP TABLE myTable
Note that DBLX does not really drop a table. Tables in DBLX are represented as individual XML documents. When a DROP TABLE query is issued the XML document representing that table is archived to a backup file.
If it is necessary to get back a dropped table, just rename the file for that table from
myTable.dat in the
/data directory of the DBLX server. Restart the DBLX server to make the table available again.
DBLX is delivered with some system tables. These system tables do not allow DROP statements to be executed.
