DBLX Server Functions


Server Functions can be used in a SELECT query.

Server Functions do not utilize the FROM clause or the WHERE clause.

Server Functions names are CASE_SENSITIVE, and must be in UPPER-CASE as documented below:


LASTID(t1) : NUMBER
Where: t1 is a table name, or is unspecified
Use: Gets the last autonumber Id inserted into the specified table by the client, or the last autonumber Id inserted into the database by the client if the table name is omitted
Sample:  
 SELECT LASTID(myTable)


LASTRECORDID(t1) : NUMBER
Where: t1 is a table name, or is unspecified
Use: Gets the last row Id inserted into the specified table by the client, or the last row Id inserted into the database by the client if the table name is omitted
Sample:  
 SELECT LASTRECORDID(myTable)


MEMORY() : NUMBER
Use: Provides the amount of memory used by the DBLX server in Kilobytes (KB) or Megabytes (MB)
Sample:  
 SELECT MEMORY()


TABLE_SIZE(t1) : NUMBER
Where: t1 is a table name, or is unspecified
Use: Provides the amount of memory used by the specified table, or the amount of memory used by all tables in the database if the table name is omitted.
Sample:  
 SELECT TABLE_SIZE(myTable)


SERVER_PROPERTIES() : STRING
Use: Displays the database server configuration from server.properties.
Sample:  
 SERVER_PROPERTIES()
